June 1 - 15 Payroll Schedule and Important Information Regarding Change to Bi-Weekly Schedule
For the June 1-15 pay period, Web site submissions may be entered between 5 p.m. on June 15 through 7 p.m. on June 17. Customer Service staff will be available to accept phone submissions between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday, June 16, and Tuesday, June 17.
The Electronic Funds Transfer/check mailing date for the June 1-15 payroll will be Tuesday, June 25, 2008.
Beginning June 16, 2008, the CDC+ program will transition to a bi-weekly payroll schedule. This means that instead of two pay periods in each month, with a total of 24 pay days each year, timesheets will be paid every two weeks, for a total of 26 pay days each year. Although you will need to keep timesheets for your employees as usual, you will only need to submit the total number of hours worked each week for each employee per service code. This will greatly simplify the Web or phone submission process.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Effective with the June 16 - 29 period, APD will only accept Web timesheets, invoices, and requests for reimbursement until 5 p.m. on the last day of payroll reporting. This is a change from the current schedule that permitted Web entries to be made until 7 p.m. on the last day of reporting. For example, for the June 16 - 29 pay period, you may enter the first week's timesheet (June 16-22) on Sunday, June 22, beginning at 5 p.m. or after your employee has finished working and has signed the timesheet, whichever is later, until 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 1. You may enter the second week's timesheet (June 23 – 29) on Sunday, June 29, beginning at 5 p.m. or after your employee has finished working and signed the timesheet, whichever is later, until 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 1. You may enter your employee timesheets after the end of each week, or you may enter timesheets for both weeks after the end of the second week. However, we encourage you to enter employee timesheets at the end of each work week.
The following information packet containing a revised timesheet and a new pay schedule was mailed to all CDC+ participants on June 16, 2008.
